Ok, lets start the tutorial step by step:

1. First, you have Download the plugin. Please check your psp firmware and see the available CXMB plugin below. You can download it directly from the download link

Please read through this post or readme.txt before using.
New CXMB 3.1 PSP plugin features:
  • You can build .ctf file with a ptf that including wallpaper.
  • Readjusts the reboot delay after applying a theme to prevent some registry issue. (source)
2. After download the CXMB Plugin, extract the file and place into root of your MS0:/
3. Put the theme file under MS0:/PSP/THEME/
4. Please enable cxmb.prx in Recovery (under VSH)
5. Go to Settings -> Theme Settings -> Theme to select your CTF themes
6. System will reboot to take effect
7. Also notice that you will at least need PSP FIRMWARE 3.90 OR HIGHER to be installed on your PSP in order to get these themes running…

If you need a ctf themes sample, you can get from eon ctf psp themes pages. If you only have PTF themes extension, I hope this video tutorial will help you. Thats all.

i've read everything above, but i'd like to know if this can be done using ONLY a psp. i'm travelling at the moment so i've left my laptop back home, and a few of the files you mentioned are not accessible (or atleast editable) using only a psp. thanks in advance.

Hi I'm hoping you can help me out. I've downloaded the CXMB for 3.90, after extraction I've put the cxmb (with the cxmb.prx) and the seplugin in my psp root folder. When I go to the recovery menu and have also enabled the plugin. However, when I try and switch my psp on the green light just comes on but the screen is blank and after 20 sec or so the psp switches itself off. I've got the 4.01 m33-2 firmware, is that why it's not working? If i put the whole extracted folder, when I go to the recovery menu to enable the plugin, the plugin does not show. Maybe I'm making an obvious mistake but I'm new at this so don't know much. Any form of help is appreciated, thanks
